What Our Pest Control Work Covers
Last updated: October 2026
Virginia Pest Pros provides the pest control services described in your estimate or service agreement. Depending on the agreed scope, work may include inspecting accessible areas, identifying pest activity, applying pesticides, setting monitoring or control devices, and explaining practical steps to reduce conditions that attract pests.
We perform pesticide work under applicable requirements, including the Virginia Pesticide Control Act, Code of Virginia § 3.2-3900, Virginia pesticide regulations in 2VAC20-20, and relevant certification rules for commercial applicators in category 7A. Products must be used according to their labels and FIFRA requirements.
Your agreement should identify the property, target pests, planned work, and any limits on access or treatment. Excluded work such as repairs, cleanup, wildlife removal, concealed-space treatment, or services for pests not listed in the agreement requires separate written approval.
We follow applicable EPA container-disposal instructions and relevant Virginia hazardous-waste rules, including 9VAC20-60.
Arranging, Changing, or Canceling a Visit
Appointments are arranged through Virginia Pest Pros and confirmed for the agreed service address and work scope. Please provide accurate access instructions and tell us about relevant conditions, such as pets, children, locked areas, or property restrictions.
Any preparation or re-entry directions provided for a particular treatment should be followed. If you need to cancel or move a visit, contact us as soon as possible using the contact details below.
Your estimate or service agreement may set any applicable notice period or cancellation charge; no charge applies unless it was disclosed and agreed to. We may need to reschedule because of weather, safety concerns, unavailable access, or other conditions that prevent the planned work.
If inspection shows that additional work or a different treatment is appropriate, we will explain the proposed change and obtain your approval before proceeding. A change to the visit date alone does not authorize a change in services or price.
How Quotes and Payments Are Handled
An estimate describes the services and price Virginia Pest Pros proposes based on the information available at the time. It may be revised if an inspection reveals different pest activity, access limits, or conditions that change the work required.
We will explain any revised scope and price and obtain your approval before doing additional work. Estimates do not include services that are not listed.
Your written estimate or service agreement will state when payment is due and any payment method or other terms that apply. Unless that document says otherwise, payment is due for the authorized work performed.
Please raise billing questions promptly and identify the service date and property so we can review the charge. No price, financing arrangement, or added service is promised unless it appears in an agreement accepted by you.
Taxes or other charges, if applicable, will be shown before approval. We do not treat silence or access to the property as approval for a new charge.
What to Expect About Service Guarantees
Virginia Pest Pros stands behind the work described in the service agreement and will address questions about whether the agreed work was completed. A separate written warranty, retreatment promise, or service guarantee applies only if it is expressly included in your estimate or agreement.
The document should explain its duration, covered pests or conditions, and any steps required to request service. These terms do not create a general warranty or promise that pests will never return; results can depend on the pest, property conditions, sanitation, entry points, and other factors outside a treatment visit.
Coverage may not apply where an agreement’s stated conditions are not met, such as when access is unavailable or required preparation is not completed. We will explain any applicable terms before work begins.
Nothing in this section removes rights or duties that cannot legally be waived. Contact us with the service details if you believe the work did not match the written scope.

I grew up near Warsaw and began my pest control work helping homeowners identify how termites, ants, and rodents get into older Virginia homes. I started this company to give people clear treatment options suited to local buildings and the shifts from damp springs to hot, mosquito-heavy summers.
Responsibility for Property and Service Risks
Please tell Virginia Pest Pros about known property conditions and provide safe access before service. Pest activity, damage, moisture, structural defects, and other conditions that existed before our visit are not caused by the visit, and we are not responsible for correcting them unless that work is separately agreed.
To the extent permitted by law, any responsibility directly arising from our service is limited to the amount paid for the specific service at issue. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We do not exclude responsibility for our own negligence or willful misconduct where such an exclusion would be unlawful. Pesticide work remains subject to the Virginia Pesticide Control Act, Code of Virginia § 3.2-3900, applicable rules in 2VAC20-20, and product-label and FIFRA requirements.
OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200, applies where legally applicable. Nothing here changes government agencies’ authority to enforce applicable requirements.

Please include your name, service address, and relevant appointment or estimate details so we can respond to the right matter. We may update these terms from time to time.
Updated terms will be posted on the applicable website page or provided with a new estimate or service agreement, with an effective date where appropriate. Changes apply as allowed by law and do not retroactively change work already performed or an existing agreement unless you accept the change.
The version provided with or accepted for a particular service governs that service, subject to applicable law. If a term cannot be enforced, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent permitted. These terms do not replace any specific written service agreement.
